Before you start gluing anything down, it’s a good idea to map out your design. Laying out your tiles in advance helps you see how the colours, shapes, and patterns work together—and gives you a chance to make adjustments before things are permanent. It doesn’t have to be perfect, but having a clear plan will make the whole process smoother and more enjoyable.
