Make a beautiful house shaped fabric advent calendar designed to be brought out year after year. You'll construct the house, create and position the individual pockets, and add all the finishing details to turn it into a special handmade Christmas tradition.

Materials

  • Body: 1m / 1.1 yard of fabric

  • Roof: 1m / 1.1 yard of fabric

  • Squares: 1m / 1.1 yard total of all fabric colours

  • 2 x wooden dowels 75cm in length

  • Ribbon of your choice for the windows and to hang

  • Sewing machine

  • Thread that matches your fabric

  • Scissors

  • Fabric pen or chalk

  • Pins or clips

  • Measuring tape

  • Iron and ironing board.
