In This Lesson

Here you will find a list of materials needed for beading and creating each project, as well as clickable links to each item. There are so many places to buy beads, both online and in local craft and jewellery-making stores. You don’t need to purchase the exact beads we’ve used in the course, part of the fun is choosing your own colours, finishes and styles!

Where To Shop

When it comes to sourcing your beads, there are many options to explore, whether you’re looking for something local or shopping online. When shopping, the most important things to check are the bead size, hole size and quantity listed in the materials guide for your project. For similar beads to the ones we use, try searching for terms like “faceted acrylic beads,” “acrylic round beads” or “transparent faceted beads,” along with the size you need. Because our bag projects use quite a lot of beads, always double-check the quantity in each packet before ordering. We’ve included some suggested places to start below, depending on where you live.

AUD & NZ: Spotlight, Officeworks, Bead123

USA & Canada: Fire Mountain Gems & Beads, BeadTin

Europe: Perles & Co, Hobbyland

UK: Hobbycraft, Beads Unlimited

You can also try Amazon, Etsy or your local craft and jewellery-making stores.
