Once you know the basic Baguette Bag technique, there are endless ways to experiment with the design. Explore a smaller take on the original, along with variations using different bead shapes, sizes and styles.

How Many Beads Do I Need To Make A Baguette Bag?

The number of beads you'll need depends on the size of your beads — the smaller the bead, the more you'll need to create the same size bag. The table below shows you how many beads you need to have to create a bag around the same size as the amber beaded bag we showed in our video.

10 MM (0.39 IN)
Approx. 950 beads
12 MM (0.47 IN)
Approx. 650 beads
14 MM (0.55 IN)
Approx. 500 beads
16 MM (0.63 IN)
Approx. 400 beads
18 MM (0.71 IN)
Approx. 300 beads

These quantities are a rough guide and include a little extra so you don't run short. The exact number will vary depending on the shape of your beads and the finished size of your bag.
